About Us

Wrecked is an online publication born out of a movement.

We’re members of a generation that is not content to view the world through the drab lens of materialism and hand-me-down religion. We want more. We want to live life on purpose, actively participating in true community, intimacy, and adventure. We are re-imagining culture.

We want to leave this world in a different state than the one in which we found it. Maybe we’re a scrap of conversation that has been going on for years; maybe we’re a voice in the wilderness. Whatever has come before us, we want our voice to be authentic. And we want to be heard.

We won’t settle for the comfortable; we won’t negotiate our time and space in history.

We are Wrecked for the Ordinary.

Will you join us?

Mission

Wrecked seeks to awaken and challenge a generation of young adults to follow an unsafe Christ in a world numbed by pop Christianity.

We want to help our readers embrace radical lifestyles in their local context and to connect to the world in which they live by being Jesus.

We seek to re-imagine culture, not just describing it as we see it, but by constantly asking the visionary question, "What could be?"
